Noreen Barcena, an alumna of the Webb Schools of California, is also a graduate of Pitzer College, having earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and Organizational Studies. Ms. Barcena attended law school at University of La Verne College of Law. In 2018, Ms. Barcena was awarded Pitzer College’s Young Alumni Achievement Award for her legal work in immigration reform, advocating for underserved populations, and creating strategic community partnerships.


Ms. Barcena is actively involved with the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Family Division as a Daily Settlement Officer. Ms. Barcena was awarded the 2021 recognition for Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Ms. Barcena also has experience providing oral arguments before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and extensive experience with

family-based and removal-defense immigration cases. Ms. Barcena dedicates her practice to immigration, criminal defense and family law cases. She attends over forty hours of Continuing Legal Education courses per year to ensure that she keeps up with current laws and to better assist her clients.


Ms. Barcena proudly serves as an executive board member of Ferias Legales, a non-profit that provides legal assistance to those in need in Southern California, and as an executive board member of Casa 0101 Theatre in Boyle Heights, California. Ms. Barcena is a former executive board member of the Mexican American Bar Association. Ms. Barcena has also served as a speaker for the American Immigration Lawyers Association Southern California Chapter, and as a volunteer liaison. Ms. Barcena dedicates her free time to volunteering for legal fairs to help the community, mentoring middle school and high school students, and as a big sister for the Catholic Big Brother and Big Sister program. Ms. Barcena is also an active volunteer of IMAHelps by helping to organize medical missions to underserved populations.
